A foreign student had been studying in Lithuania for three years and was approaching the final stage of his studies when his temporary residence permit was revoked. After his thesis project was refused, he followed the university’s advice to take a study break without realising the immigration consequences that would follow.

The case became even more complicated during the legal challenge. The fact that he had also submitted a TRP application on the basis of employment was used to argue that his real intention in Lithuania was no longer to study.

Was there enough to successfully challenge the revocation? Watch the video to find out how the case ended. ⚖️
